Our Legacy
From Zeppelin Works to Patty Field
Founded in the early 1970s as El Dorado Zeppelin Works, Inc., our father-and-son operation began as an FAA-approved repair station. We dedicated ourselves to the mastery of the iconic Great Lakes 2T-1A, -1, and -2 biplanes.
Following my father's passing, we transitioned to Phoenix Aircraft Company, and eventually established Patty Field Aero LLC. Today, we carry forward that same multi-generational passion for fabric-covered aircraft restoration.

At Patty Field Aero LLC, we specialize in the repair and restoration of Great Lakes 2T-1A,-1 and -2 biplanes. Over 45 years of experience and an A & P license with Inspection Authorization, you can trust us to provide top-quality service. Our shop rate is $95 per hour.
